The TAB buses network is built around a series of hubs with a selection of routes from the hub with a return route also.

Outward routes from the hub are always odd numbered routes and the corresponding return routes are even numbered routes.  For example, the first route from the Munchen hub, route 1, is Munchen to Wien via Salzburg, Linz and St Polten.

Route 2 is the return from Wien to Munchen via St Polten, Linz and Salzburg. The hubs and route numbers are as follows:

Munchen hub...routes numbered 1 to 14

Berlin hub....…..routes numbered 101 to 114

Frankfurt Airport hub.....routes numbered 201 to 214

Koln hub.......…..routes numbered 301 to 314

Hamburg hub.....routes numbered 401 to 414

Stuttgart hub......routes numbered 501 to 514

Hub connects...routes 901 and 902 are 2 VERY LONG circular routes which connect all the hubs
